About the SJCC

Egret Against The Storm by Ralph AlforsSouth Jersey Camera Club (SJCC) was organized to promote the art and science of photography. Among its goals is the desire to unite others in sharing similar interests, to exchange ideas and photographic expertise, and to enhance the skills of club members. The club sponsors an active program to achieve these goals. Outstanding speakers are selected to present interesting and informative programs. Field trips and workshops provide practical photographic experience. Videos on various photo topics are available to members for a nominal rental fee. Competitions in digital images, color slides, monochrome prints, and color prints are held at monthly meetings. Members compete for monthly ribbon awards and year-end medal awards. And finally, we have a mailing list for informal communication among members.

Annual dues are $40 for individuals, and $60 for families (within household). If you join between February and June the cost is $25 for an individual membership. Membership is required to enter contests and attend field trips or participate in workshops.

Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m., the third Tuesday of each month from September through June at the Medford Leas Community Center, Medford, NJ. Visitors are always welcome, at no charge!

Medford Leas is on Route 70, just outside of Medford. The official address is 1 Medford Leas Way, Medford, NJ 08055. But the location of the meeting is at the end of Woolman Haddon Way. Instead, refer to this link for exact building: community center. If you click the blue marker, you can get directions from your location straight to the parking lot.
